Motorcycles Available on our Nepal Guided Tours
Our philosophy on the Nepal tours is to use small lightweight bikes that are easily manoeuvrable and with good suspension to cope with rough road surfaces. For solo riders, we recommend that you chose one of the three lightweight dual-purpose bikes that we offer. The Honda CRF250L can also be ridden two-up, but if you want more room and comfort, we offer the Royal Enfield Himalayan 400 or Bullet 500.
The following motorcycles are available:
The dual-purpose CRF250L is equally at home on the tarmac and on broken or unmade roads. It offers plenty of power and good suspension to cope with rougher sections of road. It is light, easy to ride and ideal for solo or two-up riding. It is the first choice for most of our customers riding in Nepal.
The Suzuki DR200 is reliable, comfortable and easy to ride. It is lighter than the Honda and has a comfortable low seat.
Powered by a bored-out Yamaha YZR-R125 engine, the Spanish machine has lots of punch, is equipped with some top-notch parts and is genuinely good at tackling the dirt as well as the tarmac. If you want something that is light, fun to ride, and easy to handle in traffic and on rougher roads, this is the bike to go for.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 400
For those who prefer to ride two-up the Royal Enfield offers more space and comfort.
Royal Enfield Bullet 500
For those who prefer to ride two-up the Royal Enfield Bullet offers more space and comfort. However, this bike is heavier than those above, with less capable suspension. It is therefore not suitable for the more demanding roads on our northern trips.
